St. Joseph, we invoke you because you are
the Caretaker of the Eucharist,
the Protector of the Church
and the Patron of the world.
Help us to love our families
as you did with yours,
so that they may become an example of christian family
founded on love.
You, the smallest for the men,
but the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven,
teach us how to strip ourselves of pride and to get dressed with humility.
Through your example illuminate our path towards God
so that we can follow your footsteps
along the way of holiness.
Teach us how to pray with the silence of the heart,
totally abandoned to the Father's will,
especially in the moments we are most lacerated
spiritually and morally.
Give us the interior silence,
necessary when we are adoring
your dear Jesus.
Help us to protect and love the Eucharist
with the same care and devotion
you had for the Son of God.
Widen your mantle over us
as you did with Jesus and Mary in the desert.
Support us in the difficulties of the day and in the sickness
so that we may unite
our little sufferings to Christ's sacrifice.
Encourage us to live in the pureness and chastity,
help us to defend the truth with courage.
Just and God-fearing man,
look after the Church
that today needs your prayers to revive
with all the virtues you cultivated in your soul
through Mary's help.
